Under Gnome if the keyring password is the same
as the login password it should unlock automatically, otherwise
you have to unlock it (once) per login session.
I understand I should delete
file /myuser/.local/share/keyrings/login.keyring
and reboot. 

Why do you "understand" that to be true?  Are you setup to start the
keyring manager [usually via PAM] upon login?

I believe Seahorse should allow you to see & manage your keyring.
