... but remember: A command stays a command - even when you apply it
with "please ..."
In this context "Could you please ..." is not a command, it's a
request. This list currently has no specific rules regarding HTML vs
plaintext (nor on top-quoting for that matter) yet IMHO there is a
general consensus based on accepted practice on other technical lists
which many of us are members of. Therefore it's reasonable to ask
people to conform to the consensus where possible, but not to order
them to do so.
