Thanks for your reply, we did check Exchange config and the box is already ticked for the public folders
I can confirm you that read status when only using outlook is per user basis, but when setting read status with evolution-ews, it breaks read status for everybody else
It is like email messages is changed and appears as new email for all other users
* Questions
1) Do you know what could explain that evolution change read status for other users while the "Maintain per-user read and unread information for this folder" is ticked
2) Do you know what we could to do identify and correct the behaviour
Thanks and Best Regards

Hi,
evolution-ews tries to change the read/unread flag in any folder, and
it either succeeds or fails. If it fails, then the change is stored
only locally. (IMAP in Evolution does it pretty much the same.)
You might want to change folder settings on the server. Look at
Exchange Management Console->Microsoft Exchange->Toolbox->Public
Folder Management console, Find your Mail folder there, pick
Properties and check
[x] Maintain per-user read and unread information for this folder.
Hope it helps,
Milan
