I suspect, you may be in the same trouble like I am with ubuntu "LTS" - 
having to cope with an outdated release of evolution.

How can we motivate ubuntu people to provide recent updates? Or can anybody 
else do that?

I'll be happy to do further attempts, but if needed some advice for that.
