I have not been able to find the deb file for evolution 3.16.4.  On my R&D PC, running Ubuntu 15.10, synaptic shows 3.16.3 for evolution but 3.16.4 for evolution-data-server.  Evolution 3.16.3 does not crash when tabs are used in preparing an e-mail.  I have been reluctant to upgrade my production PC to 15.10 as I cannot afford a crash if one of the updates between now and October release date has a problem.

	Hi,
could you install debuginfo packages for evolution-data-server and
evolution, reproduce the crash and provide a backtrace of the crash,
please? Without that it's hard to guess how much known it is.

By the way, the current stable version is 3.16.4. Even 3.16.3 received
quite many changes in the composer part since 3.16.0 was released.
