E-mail that used to cause all sorts of grief with 3.10.4, now

I am running 15.10 or three PCs. All very stable.

Evolution (under Ubuntu 14.04) is crashing on startup, while it
reads:
"generating message list …"

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem
persists.

Suggestions welcome.

Thanks for the tip. I'm not in a hurry to move to Ubuntu 15.10, but
it
sure looks like I'm sliding in that direction.

Replaced Ubuntu 14.04 with 15.10 (Evolution 3.16.5) yesterday. All
appears Ok. Thank you all for your help.
