Thank you, Andre.  First problem was caused by personnel at the one IMPAX e-mail server I use, changing my password.  It totally locked up evolution once it loaded.  This included the POP accounts.

Once I was able to reset my password using the cpanel for my account on the e-mail server, evolution immediately started working normally; however, when I started evolution from the CLI, it worked correctly, but gave the following error: camel-WARNING **: Failed to initialize NSS SQL database in sql:/etc/pki/nssdb: NSS error -8126 .  What does this error mean?

Which *functional* problem does that warning create for you?

That's not a problem yet but normal behavior. :)  If you wait for 10
minutes and the situation does not change I'd call it a problem though.
