        Hi,
I would not call this random. And even I do not know the exact message 
structure, then I guess you face this bug report [1].

A workaround is to remove
   /usr/lib64/evolution/3.10/modules/module-text-highlight.so
and the next start evolution should stop misbehaving on such emails 
(in case this really is the [1]).
