Hi,
Last night I did some disk cleanup and inadvertently messed up evolution
such that this morning I had no mail, address book, calendar etc. With
the help of andre_ on IRC I began looking at the 'Data storage
locations' [1].
After poking around I noticed that .gconf/apps/evolution/mail was rather
empty. So I tried tried following,
1) restored .gconf/apps/evolution/mail from backups
2) log out/log in
3) restart evolution
4) email and my account (pop) were back!
5) but, I just noticed (hours later), that my address book, calendar,
notes or tasks have not been restored. :-(
My questions are:
1) How do I get my address book, calendar, notes and tasks back.?
2) I seem to be using .gconf, which isn't listed in the Data storage
locations. Why is that?
And my details: Debian Wheezy / evolution 3.4.4
Cheers,
V
