I'm seeing several of these crashes a day:

(a few full stack traces are below)

It seems that the object at *parent_element is getting smashed. It
happens when using Ctrl-I (Load Images), but doesn't always happen
on a
particular message, i.e. after restarting the message it just
crashed on
will load images fine.

Does this look like a known problem? I don't have the expertise to
debug it, but I'd be glad to work with somebody, or take suggestions
for
other information that would be useful to gather.

        Hi,
searching http://bugzilla.gnome.org for the crashing function within
also closed bug reports filled since 2014-01-01 gives me this single
hit:
    https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=731770
which has a fix which will be included in 3.12.4+.
        Bye,
        Milan
