Any suggestions how to solve this?

Really??? I just tested in on 3.10 and it does not do that. From what

reply-to-all behavior.

I am on Ubuntu 13.10

with Evolution 3.8.4.

That isn't that old; I was running 3.8.x just a week or so ago; I do
not recall any issue like this.
