[Evolution] Evolution 2.28.3-30 CentOS 6.4 cannot add notes to Contacts

This is on a x86_64 system. I have a cursor in the "Notes" tab but cannot type text on that page. Is this a known bug? If so is there a workaround? What can I provide to solve this issue?
