[Evolution] Evolution vs. KDE (It's a stand off)

A recent upgrade or change of environment has made it impossible for me to send email from Evolution when it's running under KDE.  Everything works properly, except that when I click on "Send", instead of the usual box appearing (probably put up by KDE Wallet) requesting the pass code to open the Wallet, nothing happens, and the send process hangs indefinitely.  Other evolution functions continue to work perfectly.  Does anyone know what might be going on or how to fix it?

System is Fedora-18 with all upgrades, Evolution-3.6.3, KDE-4.9.5, on an x86_64 system.
