At top of the Evolution Window there's a box named "Show:". Is it set to
"All Messages"? The "Search" bar should be empty. If it isn't empty,
than erase the content and push enter.

The mails should be in the folder ~/.local/share/evolution/mail .

Please don't send HTML mails to mailing list.
