[Evolution] gcr downgrade was a red herring

Sent again because of confusing mistake in subject heading.

The suggestion that downgrading gcr would solve my passwd recognition
problem was a red herring. This problem was an internal one with the
AT&T mail servers. It became obvious when outlook under Windows 7
developed the same passwd problem.
