[Evolution] ~/Maildir/new messages

It looks like evolution will read Maildir:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maildir#Mail_readers

but how do I read those from evolution?

Change the folder from:

/home/thufir/.thunderbird/tqbauftj.default/Mail/localhost

to /home/thufir/Maildir ?
