[Evolution] Cannot empty the trash

Subject: [Evolution] Cannot empty the trash

Whenever I try to empty the Trash I receive this message:
Error while Expunging folder '.#evolution/trash'
I have not found a workable solution on the internet, any help would be appreciated.
