Is gnome-keyring-daemon running?
Yes, it is running!
Is the process owned by the same user as evolution is running under?
Yes!
This may seem a strange question, but what locale is your system? If
it's not English, what is the translation for "default" in your local
language? (I did ask you this before, but you never bothered to answer
me.)
My locale is C:
LC_ALL=C
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
I did not consider the local language question important, that's why I
didn't reply. My local language is Swedish. "default" is "fÃrvalt vÃrde"
or "fÃrinstÃllt vÃrde" according to my dictionary. I think we use
"default" as well.
BTW: I saw on another box (this one) that GNOME_KEYRING_CONTROL was set
to /tmp/directory/ but not on the problematic one. Does this affect
things? How to restart the gnome-keyring-daemon? Did not find anything
in /etc/init.d
