[Evolution] ldap and groupwise server

Hello!

Actually, this are two things. First:
We are in the process of upgrading to Lucid and with that to evolution
2.28.3. We use groupwise on our site and until now (=evolution 2.22.2
on hardy), the "Novell Groupwise Address Book" worked fine. Now it
seems to be broken, I don't get any results back from the search.
Anyone happens to now something about that?

Well, that let me give ldap a try. After some initial struggling this
works pretty well, except that I can only search the lastname. Where
can I fiddle with the fields that evolution will query?

Even though queries work fine, I'm not able to browse the directory in
the ldap settings dialog (Find Possible Search Bases). I immediately
get the error "Failed to authenticate with LDAP server". What is there
to authenticate if I've set Login method to Anonymously?
