[Evolution] Evolution for Windows won't start. Ancient version error.

Just installed Evolution 2.28.2-1 on my XP machine.  When I start Evo I get
the error: "evolution-mail-ERROR **: Upgrading from ancient versions not
supported on Windows aborting..."    Problem is, I've tried everything I can
think of to remove old traces of previous versions.  I've used Revo
Unintaller, cleaned my registry, manually looked for old copies of Evo and
GTK in the directories and in the registry.  I must be missing something
obvious.   Help please.
