A "remove attachments" feature would probably be useful in some
circumstances (though of course it won't work if the message is signed).
The place to ask for enhancements is http://bugzilla.gnome.org. If you
do this, post the report number here so other people can add comments.

Note that this has nothing to do with Ubuntu. If you have a specific
Ubuntu request, use the Ubuntu mailing lists.
