Hi,
in Edit->Preferences->Mail Accounts is a "Default" button on the right.
You can mark one account as a default, which will be used in a "From:"
when composing a new e-mail. Note that when replying or forwarding
Evolution tries to be smart and chooses an account based on the received
account/folder you are replying/forwarding from.
I've figured out what is happening. I'm usually composing a new message
when Evolution is "positioned" on my current IMAP folders (from the SMTP
+IMAP) account. It then uses the IMAP account. If Evolution is
"positioned" on the "On This Computer" default folder it uses the
[default] marked account/address.
Can't Evolution be configured to still use the [default] marked
account/address even if positioned on IMAP folders or when replying to
messages in these folders?
Thanks,
Razvan
