I haven't done email, but have successfully connected up GAL and
Calendar.  My setup is this:

On DAVmail:

 Gateway:
   OWA URL https://server.com/owa

   CalDdav HTTP port: 1080
   Local LDAP port: 1389

On Evo:

 Calendar:
    Type: CalDAV
    URL:  caldav://localhost:1080/users/first last email add com/calendar
    Username: Exchange-username

 Address book
    Server: localhost
    Port :  1389
    Login method: using DN
    Login:  Exchange-username
    
    Search base: ou=people
    Search scope: One
