[Evolution] Evolution terribly slow in displaying mails

I have enabled "synchronize remote mails locally" option so I assume that all mails are downloaded to disk. But still opening a mails is terribly slow. If my internet connection is slow then why it takes a long time to show the mail which is already downloaded?
