I am not a programmer but creating a small plugin that has a short stack
of recent 'delete' or 'read' operations shouldn't be difficult.  It is
mainly a matter of removing or adding flags.

I will re-file a Request For Enhancement this evening or tomorrow
morning.  Evolution is now in the hands of Gnome programmers, there are
probably new people who can see the benefit of an 'undo' enhancement for
'delete' and 'read' and perhaps this request will get more user support.
