Re: [Evolution] Offline Exchange Calendar

I'm not sure I understand your answer
Is it up to the Evolution team to develop this feature or could it be implemented by separate connectors (i.e. brutus).

It is entirely up to the e-d-s backend to take care of caching and whether the cache may be synchronized with the remote data store. The utility methods for reading and writing to the cache is in e-d-s but the hard part is doing the sync logic. Most backends, as far as I know, do not implement any synchronization of modified offline cache data with the backend data store.

Eventually is 42tools going to develop this feature ?

Maybe, it depends on time, resources and whether e-b keeps living as a separate component outside Evolution or is merged. Not much suggest that is ever going to happen whether or not libmapi is merged.

Not really... All of the methods to read and write to the cache is in
Evolution (e-d-s actually) so you may just possible be in luck.
