I seem to be confused, or at least causing some confusion:

You wrote:

I replied:
        The mailbox is local.  Is there a similar plan for local
        mailboxes?
So far, I don't have a reply to this.
        Therefor I did not remove any cache files.
I also took a look at bug 478151 that you referred to.  It seems to be
about problems with evolution communicating with a server of some kind,
and to have advice about removing a folder called
         ~/.evolution.../exchange.  
My machine has no evolution server, and no such folder.  So it seemed
useful to put the email into the bug comments.

I see a note of reproach (?) if your comments.  Fedora looks like a list
to which users should go with problems or comments about any component
of Fedora.  The Evolution list and others like it are for people who
have problems that can't be solved in the general Fedora list.  Is this
correct?
