Sounds like this bug:

Feel free to add yourself there, but the bug has not received much love
from the Evo developers.

There's a workaround there to get you your emails back, but they'll
eventually disappear again (at least, mine do).

Paul, the OP sent the identical message to the Fedora list yesterday,
and in answer to a question from me said that the Inbox is local. I
suggested he remove his cache files but he never replied to say whether
that worked or not.
