There's an easier option (for *stable*), if you'd like to use:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/STABLE/SUSE_Linux_10.1/i586/evolution-data-server-1.12.0-11.11.i586.rpm
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/STABLE/SUSE_Linux_10.1/i586/evolution-2.12.0-29.13.i586.rpm

You may have to upgrade some other packages as well, which you'll find under the same tree: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/STABLE/SUSE_Linux_10.1/
