The version shipped by your distribution (assuming it is the one you
used for this post) is rather old, almost 2 years.

This option has been introduced later, after 2.6.x. I guess the manual
you are referring to is taken straight from the project web site,
dealing with a more recent version of Evo. While the help built into Evo
does match your exact version.
