[Evolution] Cannot edit my contats

Hi,

I had previously problems with contacts getting lost when changing
username, but they were solved with the help of this list by editing the
file .gconf/apps/evolution/addressbook/%gconf.xml in gconf-editor.

Now I have another problem, I can store and view my contacts, but cannot
edit them, they are not found by evolution. Some path is obviously wrong
somewhere in the .gconf directory.
