Hi all.
I previously reported a problem with importing
Outlook Express address lists in CSV format into Evolution directly. I assumed
that when the prompt references Outlook it referred to Outlook Express, but I
reasoned that it may refer to MS Outlook. So I did the following and had a
successful import.
I imported the Outlook Express CSV file into MS
Outlook. I then exported the addresses to a CSV file from MS Outlook. I then
imported the MS Outlook file into Evolution. That worked.
Hope that this makes sense. I guess if you don't
have MS Outlook (which I believe comes with MS Office) you're out of luck.
Hopefully the powers that be will create an import option for Outlook Express
CSV files????
