Re: [Evolution] Exchange and calendar sharing

I was very excited to see this suggestion! I tried it right away. But,
the Anonymous: none rights don't go away when I click on the minus sign.
There is no feedback of any kind. The action fails to have an effect
with no warnings.

Can I edit a file to make them go away?

Or, maybe I was doing it wrong? I right-clicked on the work calendar
and chose permissions, then clicked on the minus sign. Is that the
wrong way? Is there another way?

cheerio,
bjb

Hi,

I have had this problem as well, but it alternated with the error
'Permission Denied'. The ultimate solution seemed to be (at least for
us (now 3 people connected to exchange and sharing calendars through
evolution) ) to remove the rights 'Anonymous: none' from the calendar
permissions.

Hope this adds any help to getting it solved...

FYI - I had the same problem with evolution 2.6. I upgraded to 2.8 and
it's working just fine.

I also receive a "Generic Error" when trying to open a shared calendar.
I am running Fedora Core 5 with the following versions installed and
connecting to Exchange 2003 server:

evolution-data-server-debuginfo-1.6.2-1.fc5.1

evolution-connector-debuginfo-2.6.2-1.fc5.4
evolution-2.6.3-1.fc5.5

BTW: I also crash the pilot sync program if I try to sync the exchange
calendar.

Hi Vitezslav,
      Please provide the following information,
What is the version of evolution which he is using ?
Is he getting any error messages while subscribing to other user's
calendar ?

Please note though he has subscribed to other users folder from

outlook,

for the calendars to appear they have to be subscribed from

evolution.

You can subscribe from main menu File->Subscribe to other Users

Exchange

folder.

Hello.

I have a problem with evolution on colleague notebook. Most

of

the company use Outlook/Office2003, but colleague is tired of

Windows

(so am I) and it's everyday problems and instability.
This is the problem: Colleague can't browse calendars of

other

users, so he can plan the meetings. These calendars are normally to

be

seen in Outlook. I've read guides for evolution and search the

google

and, but nothing helped me.
Could you please be so kind and spend a bit of your time for
solve/help with our problem? :-) (after this colleague's windows

will be

gone)

Thanks in advance.
