What I am looking for (and I assume that James is also) is a description
on what the (differences between) CalDAV webDAV are. Also I would be
very grateful if someone more knowledgeable could give pointers or even
short descriptions on working combinations of server software required
to set up this kind of a service which supports shared read/write. I
have insofar tested the calendaring on Horde and Zimbra, but these do
not seem to allow outside editing.
I use the Cosmo calendaring system from OSAF (http://www.osafoundation.org/)
- it's CALDav based and works fine from Evolution. There's also a web
server based component so you can access your calendar via the web
(called Scooby).
It's all a bit rough around the edges and is only at the 0.3 release
level, but it works for me and allows me to access my calendar from
various places.
