Hi all,
Since upgrading to Mandriva Free 2007.0 yesterday, which includes
Evolution 2.8.0, I have a very nasty display problem. All messages in
the preview pane are scrolled down, and to the right (if possible).
Which is of course horrible as the message tends to be on the top left
of the message.
try disabling the cursor mode/caret mode in the "view" main menu (or
just press "F7").
A number of Fedora users have been bit by this behavior, even people on
our own Desktop team! Evolution gives no visible indication that you're
in caret mode other than a check mark on a menu.
Epiphany displays "Caret" in the status bar when caret mode is enabled
(again, F7) and I think that's a good example to follow. I plan on
filing a bug about it if there isn't one already.
Matt
