Evo 2.6.3 will not help with that I fear. At least it didn't for me.
Its a shame, but personally I think the connector
   * Reliability
   * Start time
   * Memory footprint
are higher priorities..

*sigh*

it is getting harder and harder to keep using evo. The speed improved
somewhat from the version that shipped with suse10 when I upgraded to
2.6.0-18 from the suse supplementary gnome repo.

But, I have a vmware session running windows that it seems I have to
go to constantly so that I can run internet explorer and OWA ... grrrr
... will evo and this connector ever work?

I'm staring to think that every version of the Exchange Connector is a
beta release - I have not had Evol Exchange Conn working well since I
was forced to use it to get to our company email (even thinking on going
back to my WinXP machine for email!!)

Any reason why its so buggy? The exchange protocol (webdav) should be
well known by now, or does the iis the issue somewhere else?

As I understand it, Evolution's Exchange connector doesn't use webdav -
it uses screenscraping of OWA. I'm assuming this is because the webdav
protocol isn't supported fully or implemented in a way that Evolution
can connect to.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone can confirm or deny this. I use
Evolution's Exchange connector at work, and while it is something of a
dog, I'm grateful for it. And I know that if the OWA interface goes
down, so does my email.

Thanks, Tom
