Sounds really bad, but please file a bug in bugzilla for this.

Also, try re-creating your account using the evolution account editor,
and see if things work fine there. Also, check the value of owa_url and
owa_path in gconf, when you create the account using x-c-s and the
account editor separately.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I thought maybe editing the owa
path in my .gconf directory might do it, but it still appends it.
