[Evolution] exchange connector does not support hyphens in global catalog server name

I can check my mail fine, but I got, from the school, the global
catalog server name

it's

foo-mail.univ.edu

it saves that in the server name box, but I keep getting a timeout,
and it says it cannot connect to
mail.univ.edu

I am assuming this means foo- is being ignored.

????
