Re: [Evolution] GAL doesn't work at all

Is there a particular reason You are using LDAP and not the Exchange server for this??

Ok here what I did

when I ran /usr/libexec/evolution/2.2/evolution-exchange-storage ( I
have 2.2 ) I got :

Evolution Exchange Storage up and running
** (evolution-exchange-storage:15243): WARNING **: LDAP authentication
failed (0x51)

now when I go to the LDAP server properties and change the port to 636
and click ok and go back I find it change it to 389 !!! , I put "Use
secure connection" to always but it the same so I went to gconf and
change it there but I still can't access LDAP or GAL

anyway what I have in Mozilla Address Book (which it works fine with
the LDAP and I can download all the address)

hostname : ldap.*****.com
BaseDN= o=internet
Port: 636
Bind DN: (nothing)
use secure connection (SSL): yes

now if I try to download the cards in mozilla it will ask me for user
name and password (which is the same password for my email) and it
will start downloading the cards

I tried this in evolution but it doesn't ask for password and it doesn't work

is the authentication LDAP not supported yet ?
