[Evolution] Evolution 2.2.2 freezes on adding a new contact/task/appointment

Hi,

Keep up the great work, I really like the new plain text mode setings ......

I have installed evolution 2.2.2 from source as part of Gnome 2.10.1 (jhbuild).

Whenever I try to create a new contact/task/appointment evolution just freezes 

If I run evolution from a terminal I get the following output in the terminal,

[mark jersey:~]$ /opt/gnome2.10.1/bin/evolution-2.2 &

It would appear as though my system has db-4.3.27 installed. I only
note this as I am having problems getting libgda-1.2.1 to build
without dying in the db section ...... and I believe evolution uses
db..

Any suggestions greatly appreciated?
