Yeah, but Heberto was asking specifically if there was a way to do it, WITHOUT opening up the main evolution window at the same time.  Which you can't.

That's odd, since in Debian Unstable, Mozilla has Evolution registered
with the mailto protocol.

So, even if Evo is not running, if I click on a mailto: link,
Evo fires up and opens a composer window.
