Hey everyone. I use the filter "play sound" option to play different sounds for various people I get mail from. The part about this that I do not like, is if I receive 3 messages in one POP mail retrieval, all 3 sounds play on top of one another. I've been thinking about creating some sort of script on incoming messages and somehow triggering it to run at the end... but... What do you all think. In an ideal Evolution, wouldn't these sounds play in sequence? I'm a long term software guy (20+ years) but new to linux as far as actually contributing. If you all believe that it would be better for these to happen in sequence, I could take a look at the code. Or, do some of you already familiar with the filter code know better?
it's been already filed at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=274125 , but i assume nobody is working on it, so feel free to code if you like to... ;-) -- mailto:ak-47 gmx net | failed! http://www.iomc.de
