Oh man, I did hope this bug was killed once and forever by now...

Well, which Evo version do you use? You did not mention this, and you
didn't use Evo to send the mail either...


FWIW, issues like this came up a couple of times. It turned out it only
happens in very rare cases, and does not happen always. Try these
options to reply to that mail:

* Reply again. And again, and... Does it change behavior?

* Before typing anything, set the cursor to another position. Does it
  work there?

* Select the text you want to quote using the mouse and Reply. Does this
  help?

* When replying, switch to plain text (uncheck Format / HTML). Any
  better?
