[Evolution] pilot support

Hi All,

I am new to this list. I am trying to compile evolution with pilot
conduits supprot. The configure script fails saying that the
pilot-link does not have UTF-8 conversions support.

i am using:
evolution-2.2.3
pilot-link-0.12pre4 (itried older versions also)

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem.
