No.
Sorry, my bad. The above answer "no" is only true for 2.0.x versions.
It has just come to my attention, that this "save all attachments"
feature will be available in 2.2.0. There already is an eplugin [1],
that does this.
FWIW, eplugins are a new feature of the current development branch 2.1
and will be available in the next stable branch 2.2.
