[Evolution] Compiling newest version Evolution

Hi,
I just obtained the newest files for the compilation of evolution 2.04.
However, when starting ./configure it exits with this error:

"configure: error: Library requirements (gtk+-2.0 >= 2.2

However, it is present in:
/usr/share/libgnomeprint/2.6.0

OS Fedora II automatic updates the latest update is
libgnomeprint22-2.6.0-1.i386.rpm
Has anybody a clue why I can't compile?
