Re: [Evolution] Retrieving Evo 1.2 addressbook in Evo 2.0.2

You can place your backed up evolution 1.4 dir in the new installtion
home dir and let
evolution 2.0.x migrate all the data for you. There are several mails
on how to do that in this mailing list. You can search for those.

I recently upgraded from RH-9 to Fedora Core 3. On the old system I was

carefully backed up all my !/evolution files. On FC-3 I now have evo
2.0.2, which I like a lot, but there seems to be no way to retrieve or
import my old data. Am I missing something really obvious? I tried the
import function from the file menu, but it didn't seem to know about old
versions of evolution; I retrieved my filters with the help of a quick
perl hack, and I recreated my folders one at a time by hand, but I still
haven't come up with a good way to recover my contacts. Help please?

TIA,
