Hi all,
I seem to have a problem submitting to the Evolution-list gnome org list
(and some others too it seems) with Evo 2.4.0 SuSE 10.0 Boxed Version. I
am trying again with a new mail address. Pardon if there are double
postings.
I asked initially:
Is there a way to get rid of hundreds of duplicate e-Mails in Evo.? My
ISP changes something every now and then, then all the older mails are
downloaded again. I have to keep the mails on the server. In M$-Outlook
there are various apps to do that.
In the Archives of Evolution-list and Evolution-hacker there are no
referennces that deliver 'duplicate' using the
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/ link on
http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list.
With google, however, I found some references in the Archive:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/evolution-list/2005-December/msg00012.html
There has been calls to have a built in function in Evo.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=253244
Here are also some 'risky' pearl scripts and 'plugins'.
Has anyone tried them yet?
I tried installing the plugin from
http://www.gnome.org/~carlosg/stuff/evolution/
./configure runs and when I run 'make', it gives the error:
remove-duplicates.c:25:29: error: widgets/e-error.h: No such file or
directory
remove-duplicates.c: In function 'get_message_md5':
remove-duplicates.c:86: warning: pointer targets in passing argument 1
of 'md5_get_digest' differ in signedness

Can it be because I am running on a SUSE 10.0 x86_64 boxed verion?
Installing and using Mutt seems a little daunting.
:-)
