I am playing with TV schedules. So I created a program that reads in an
xml file containing all the schedule information from 1 channel. This
resulted in 301 vevents being generated into a ics file. This file was
then imported into evolution.
From that point on performance was down the drain completely. I switch
views a few times to see if a certain view to see it it would make a
difference. This made the performance so bad I finally had to kill the
process.
the 301 events were spread out starting at september 28th upto and
including october 4th.
Should I have been expecting this behavior? is there different behavior
when the calendar is not local but from the web?
