Re: [Evolution] spam filter is ok but ...

the evo's spam filter is very good but i don't understand where it put
spam mails, only to check if they are really spam ;)

Evolution doesn't put them anywhere (special) when checking for SPAM.

Your mail is delivered to the Inbox just as it used to. Enabling Junk
Filtering is like an explicit Filter: Evolution passes the mail to
SpamAssassin (the spamd daemon) which checks the mail using spamc.
Depending on the return value (which classifies the spammyness level)
the mail gets treated either as SPAM or HAM (not SPAM).

Junk mail (which are classified as SPAM by SpamAssassin) are marked as
such (which is an Evo internal flag). Junk mails don't show up in your
Inbox, but in the Junk folder.

Anyway, be aware that the Junk folder actually is a vFolder -- which
means, the Junk mails itself are still physically located in your Inbox.
You just don't see them there... :)

Hope, that answers your question...
